Reflecting Hyundai motorsports technology, this hatchback dusts its class competition. We take a look at two of many standout performance features that got our attention.

Sport-Tuned Rev-Matching

Rev-matching has never been easier. Adjusting engine speed to match the gear you’re shifting into puts less shock on the transmission and makes for buttery-smooth shifting. It’s not an exact science, so it can be a bit tricky. It doesn’t have to be thanks to the Hyundai Veloster. It rev-matches automatically according to selectable drive modes: Normal, Sport and Sport+.

Electronic Limited Slip Differential

The Hyundai Veloster boosts the ability to corner with precision and stability. It uses an electronically controlled system to allow wheel output shafts to spin at different speeds. This prevents slippage and enhances wheel-to-ground connection and torque even when the wheels momentarily experience less grip.
