There has been a myth that has been floating around for quite some time that suggests your vehicle will experience much better gas mileage if you drive it around with less than a half tank of fuel. This is nothing but a myth, and it is actually more beneficial to have a full tank of fuel, especially in the cold winter months that we are experiencing right now.

Allowing your fuel tank to remain less than half of a tank full will provide some empty room in your fuel lines. This space can experience some condensation in the cold temperatures, and over time this condensation will freeze. The last thing you want is ice in your fuel lines, so keeping your tank as full as possible is something that you will want to strongly consider doing when you head out to work each day or when you are running errands on the weekend.
